This is an original piece that I did for a friend who is about to get married. Down here in Louisiana the fleur de lis is very popular. It is an acrylic done on canvas.

cloth shoes
These are some cloth baby shoes that I made using a pattern from Stardust Shoes. I found the idea from once again Homemade by Jill. This is the third pair I made. The first two were definitely trial and error. I can't wait to give them to somebody with a little girl.

This is the first project of hopefully many. I used a tutorial found on Homemade by Jill and it was very simple. Her projects are great!

Crescent City Classic
Hey everyone, been busy the last couple of days. Today I ran in the Crescent City Classic in New Orleans which is a 10k race. Had lots of fun, but I am extremely tired haha! Hope to post some pics soon and to write a little more tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good day!

New to the blogging world
I just wanted to start a blog to post my original artwork and crafts that I have been working on. I've gotten many of my craft projects from Homemade by Jill and she is absolutely amazing. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures soon.
